DAY 1 - Monday 12 May.
Meet the group at Horn Island. (right)
Board Ferry to Thursday Island
Walk and Bus tour of Thursday Island
Dinner and briefing at Torres Strait Island Resort
DAY 2 - Tuesday 13 May
Fly to Mt Hagen - clear customs (YHID-AYMH is 310 NM approx).
Tour the Mudmen villages
Overnight stay at the Highlander Hotel
DAY 3 - Wednesday 14 May
Fly to Madang (AYMH -AYMD is 96 NM approx)
Tour of Madang town & surroundings
Transfer to Mololo Plantation Lodge
Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure
"Mololo Lodge lies nestled amongst coconut palms on a beautiful black sand beach, 42km North of Madang. This magic scenic drive from Madang takes aprox. 45 minutes on a sealed road through the lush tropical rainforest, past thatch roofed villages and copra plantations. Across the bay is 'Kar Kar Island' and active volcano with a halo of smoke, fringed with coral reed and crystal seas".
DAY 4 - Thursday 15 May
Relax with cultural based activities; including snorkelling, tennis, bird-watching or just relax by the pool and enjoy the natural beauty of the Lodge and surrounding ...please yourself!

DAY 5 - Friday 16 May
Fly to Karawari in the Sepik Region, Fly coastal via Active Volcano if you wish (AYMD - KARR direct 142 NM approx)
Enjoy the views along the famous Sepik River to Karawari or Timbunki (To be confirmed)

Stay overnight on the "Sepik Spirit"
DAY 6 - Saturday 17 May
DAY 7 - Sunday 18 May
Full day cruise, exploring the Sepik river basin and the magic experience of the unique cultures and beautiful scenery.

.DAY 8 - Monday 19 May
Transfer to Karawari by riverboat
"Kawari Lodge stands majestically on a lone ridge amongst a vast expanse of dense tropical lowland rainforest. This is 'Arambrak' country, one of the most unspoilt areas of Papua New Guinea, with the Karawari River only 300 feet below"
DAY 9 - Tuesday 20 May
Fly from Karawari to Tari or Mt Hagen, pending on weather (KRR - TARI is 83 NM approx)
Some will fly direct to the new Ambua airstrip, others will transfer from Tari or Mt Hagen via Islander.
Time permitting; afternoon nature walk.
DAY 10 - Wednesday 21 May
Full day tour, enjoy and participate in a variety of activities including; bird watching and nature walks.
